1. Data controller

2. Data processed and purposes

We only process data that is necessary for the purposes listed below.

• Contact details (first name, last name, email, phone, message) submitted through the contact form: to reply to enquiries and manage bookings. Legal basis: performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).
• Browsing data (IP address, browser and device type, pages visited) collected through technical logs and strictly necessary cookies: to keep the site working and secure. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f GDPR).
• Statistical data collected through Google Analytics 4 (pseudonymous device identifier, pages and sections viewed, interactions such as clicks on "Book online" or on apartment cards, language, country and approximate city derived from the IP address, device and browser type, traffic source): to measure how the site is used in aggregate form and improve its content and services. Legal basis: consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR), which can be withdrawn at any time. Without consent Google Analytics is not activated (Google Consent Mode v2, consent denied by default).
• Data collected by other cookies or third-party content (e.g. the Google Maps embed): only with your prior consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR), which can be withdrawn at any time.

3. Recipients

Data may be processed by suppliers acting as processors: hosting and infrastructure providers, email services, the booking management system, Google Ireland Ltd. for the Google Analytics 4 statistics service, and map services (Google Maps). Data is never sold to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

4. Transfers outside the EU

Some suppliers may process data outside the European Economic Area. In that case the transfer relies on adequacy decisions or on Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission. In particular, statistical data collected through Google Analytics 4 may be transferred to Google LLC in the United States on the basis of the EU-US Data Privacy Framework adequacy decision and Standard Contractual Clauses.

5. Retention

Data submitted through the contact form is kept for as long as needed to handle the enquiry and, where a booking is made, to meet contractual, tax and legal obligations. Technical logs are kept for a limited period for security purposes. Cookie consent is stored for 12 months.

6. Your rights

You may exercise your rights under Art. 15-22 GDPR at any time: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability and withdrawal of consent, by writing to info@albapalaceluxuryapartments.it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).

Providing the data marked as required in the contact form is necessary in order to answer your enquiry; without it we cannot follow up.
